Product Details
Road Marking Pigments are essential raw materials used in the production of pavement marking paints. They provide the color and hiding power needed to create visible markings on road surfaces. In a properly formulated coating, pigments work together with the binder, fillers, and other additives to achieve the required appearance and application performance.
Titanium dioxide (TiO₂) is widely used as the white pigment in road marking formulations. It provides whiteness and opacity, helping the coating cover the underlying pavement. Yellow markings require a yellow pigment selected for the desired shade and the demands of the paint system. Available pigment types may include chrome yellow or alternative yellow pigments, depending on the product grade and formulation requirements.
For thermoplastic road marking paints, pigment selection should account for the heating conditions during production and application. Heat stability, dispersibility, and compatibility with the resin system are important considerations. A suitable pigment should disperse evenly throughout the mixture and maintain the required color under the intended processing conditions.
These pigments are used in road marking formulations for highways, urban roads, intersections, pedestrian crossings, parking areas, and industrial traffic zones. They support the production of lane lines, edge lines, arrows, symbols, and other pavement markings. Nighttime retroreflectivity is provided by the reflective glass bead system used with the marking material.
We offer white and yellow pigment options for road marking paint production. Please share your paint type, processing temperature, target color, and order quantity so we can discuss an appropriate grade and provide the corresponding technical information and quotation.
